Fundraiser for Mashapaug Pond Procession 6-8pm Thursday May 21st

$5 Music, Food, Crafts, and Artist Talk at New Urban Arts

Come by New Urban Arts, 743 Westminster Street, Providence, for some delicious homemade soup and live music by Phil Edwards. See a slide show with images from last year's parade and workshops done at Charles Fortes Elementary School and Wat Thormikaram Buddhist Temple on Hanover Street. If you're feeling creative, you can even take part in making the banners for the June 6th parade.

Proceeds from this neighborhood event will go towards material costs for the parade and for workshops at Wat Thormikaram Temple with artist Jennifer Rice. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but all donations will be accepted.
