New Urban Arts Invites You To Join The Celebration This Friday, November 20th From 4pm-7pm

Please join us in celebrating New Urban Arts being named a Coming Up Taller Award winner with an opening event and exhibition of artwork created by New Urban Arts Artist Mentors and Arts Mentoring Fellows.

The Coming Up Taller Award is the nation's highest honor for the field of out-of-school time arts and humanities programs. The honor is presented by First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House, on behalf of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

Join Mayor David N. Cicilline in congratulating New Urban Arts on this prestigious award. Highlights of the evening include:

*Art Exhibition introducing the 2009-10 artist mentors and fellows
*Release of Collections and Archives, the 2009 Art Inquiry resource guide
*Special visit from New Urban Arts Founder, Tyler Denmead.
*Great art, good friends and an exciting occasion for celebration!!
