Mail Art professional development workshops
Today From 5-6pm***
Andrew Oesch is leading a professional development workshop with one of our students. Hear about some of our most successful projects and art activities from the 2008 Summer Art Inquiry on creative acts of correspondence and mail art. Learn about the /Dear Providence/ project which could inspire a school based initiative where students solicit letters to the school itself and turn the responses into a school wide art exhibition that encourages writing habits while building school community and sparking conversation between students, teachers and administrators.
This workshop is for artists, educators and youth workers who are looking for inspiration and ideas to bring to their own programs or classrooms. The workshop is free, interactive and open to the public.
